UTAH COUNTY PROJECT OVERVIEW
2100 NORTH TO PORTER ROCKWELL BOULEVARD
Construction has started on Mountain View Corridor in Utah County. This project will construct 4 new miles of freeway between Utah and Salt Lake Counties, connecting 2100 North in Lehi to Porter Rockwell Boulevard in Herriman. Improvements include:

Constructing four miles of new roadway

Creating a four-leg intersection at Porter Rockwell Boulevard

Upgrading the intersection at 2100 North and Redwood Road to an interchange

Installing wildlife fencing

Constructing a multi-use trail
Construction is expected to last through spring 2026. This will be the first freeway segment of MVC constructed in Utah County.
WHAT TO EXPECT THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT:

Day work Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. (weekend and nightwork as needed)

Trucks entering and exiting the work zone

Increased noise, dust and vibrations

Traffic shifts, lane closures, detours as needed
UTAH COUNTY PLANNED PROJECTS
MVC South
(Cory Wride SR-73 to Redwood Road)
UDOT is preparing a State Environmental Study (SES) to evaluate a possible 10-mile extension of MVC to Redwood Road near Pelican Point. The study is expected to be complete by the summer of 2025. For more information, contact a project team representative using the contact information below.

2100 North Freeway
(MVC to I-15)
Following completion of the current MVC project (2100 N – Porter Rockwell Blvd), the 2100 North Freeway project will begin construction. This project will construct freeway lanes between the existing eastbound and westbound roadways, which will become frontage roads. Pioneer Crossing Flex Lanes
This project will provide two additional travel lanes in the peak direction of travel depending on the time of day (just like 5400 South in Salt Lake County). The project would also re-stripe Pioneer Crossing from Redwood Road to MVC to provide one additional travel lane in each direction throughout the day. Most work is expected to be completed within the existing state right of way. Construction is expected to start as early as 2025 or 2026. MVC Extension from 2100 North
to Cory Wride Highway (SR-73)
UDOT will construct new MVC freeway lanes and interchanges between 2100 North in Lehi and Cory Wride Highway (SR-72) in Saratoga Springs. The new freeway lanes will be built between the existing roadways, which will become frontage roads. This project will include improvements and additions to the nearby trail system. Construction is anticipated to start as early as 2027.

Cory Wride Freeway
(MVC - Ranches Parkway)
This project will construct a new freeway with frontage roads from Mountain View Corridor in Saratoga Springs to Ranches Parkway in Eagle Mountain. The project will ease congestion in the area, accommodate future transit, bike lane and trail improvements, minimize impacts to existing properties and preserve access to existing developments. Construction is expected to start as early as 2027.
